- The Villages Scuba Club – Whether your an experienced diving pro or have yet to get your snorkle wet, The Villages Scuba Club has a large calendar of events, as well as classes geared to scuba enthusiasts of all skill levels. Given the proximity of The Villages’s location to a number of priming diving spots, getting involved in The Villages Scuba Club is a great way to start exploring our region, and you just might make some new friends along the way.
- The Villages Polo Club – Golf might be the first activity that comes to mind for most people when they think about The Villages, but polo comes in as a close second for many local residents. The Villages has its very own polo club that squares off against visiting clubs at its spacious, three tier polo stadium. If you have a horse of your own, rental space is available at both the barn and the paddocks for a very reasonable fee.
- Pickelball Courts at The Villages – During the past decade, the sport of pickelball has gone from a relatively uncommon recreational activity to one of the most popular new sports amongst retirees. Pickelball is a racquet sport that is basically a cross between traditional tennis, table tennis and badminton. Thanks to the lightweight wiffleball used in the game, pickelball is a slower moving sport than similar activities, which is makes it a particularly attractive way to spend the afternoon for seniors. The Villages is home to some great pickleball courts, as well as an official pickelball club.
- The Villages Woodshop – Believe it or not, The Villages is also home to a full scale woodworking shop where members are free to use a wide variety of high quality tools and equipment to hone their craft.
